New Music Monday: That’s What Love Can Do

For the show this Monday, I would like to feature a song from my first album entitled

“THAT’S WHAT LOVE CAN DO”

This is another of my favorite songs for the simple reason that lyrically it speaks to the miracles that love can bring in to your life.

It features the guitar work of John Willis who has been the studio guitarist for countless number one country hits. His recording credits include Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Georgia Florida Line, Rita Wilson, Leann Rimes, Craig Morgan, Gretchen Wilson, Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Alabama, Jewel, and India Arie. Frequently nominated for various awards, Willis was honored in 2002 with the “Guitarist of The Year” award from the Academy of Country Music. As a songwriter, it’s obvious to me that the great majority of songs are written about falling in love or falling out of love and the myriad of feelings this experience evokes.

This particular love song is about the miracle of wonder and beauty that LOVE can bring into our lives.
