My new song of the week for the radio show on Island 92 Monday will be a song I wrote called “SLAVE.”

I recorded this song in Nashville a couple of years ago, and it features the tremendous guitar work of one of Nashville’s best–award winner Pat Buchanan.

It also features a steel guitar solo by Dan Dugmore, famously known for his mournful steel guitar solo on Linda Ronstadt‘s hit Blue Bayou.

I was fortunate to have these and other incredible musicians on this track. Superb backup vocals, featuring Megan James, turn this song in to a soulful cry of submission.

Some people are slaves to fashion, some are slaves to their work, some are slaves to their addictions…

Some of us are just slaves to love.
